The Three Dots and a Dash Chair challenges convention by deconstructing the traditional idea of seating — removing its core structural mass and replacing it with a rhythm of precision and intent. Named after the Morse code for “Victory” (…–), the design celebrates resilience through subtraction, revealing how strength can emerge from what is taken away.

At its heart lie metal insertions, strategically embedded into the wooden frame. These sleek, minimal connectors form both the visual and structural essence of the chair — the “dots and dash” that transform absence into architecture. Their placement is not arbitrary but deliberate, symbolizing balance and coded energy while lending stability and continuity to the entire piece.

The form is reductive yet expressive, allowing light to flow through its open geometry while maintaining undeniable integrity. The wooden frame conveys warmth and craft, while the metal elements add contrast — precision meeting poetry.
